The calculations are based on results from out test site in Östhammar, Sweden measured in Q1 2017.
With power and transmission included, total cost per customer will be reduced further. Calculations will differ depending on frequency bands, number of operators per site, local variations, terrain, etc.

The study showed that between all 21 configurations, traditional antennas scored lowest with the site radius equal 36km and the highest TCO/km2 equal47euro.

While the Radio Innovation antenna system (MIMO 4x2, 4 vertical piled antennas per sector) scored highest with a radius equals 82 km and TCO/km2 equals 19 euro.
